Uniting for a Cause: The James Bushell Jnr Charity Walk

Football, it's in the blood. So in the spirit of camaraderie and compassion, we are thrilled to announce the James Bushell Jnr Charity Walk, a heart warming initiative by fans of Leeds United and Huddersfield Town. On Saturday, October 28th, 2023, just before the highly anticipated clash between these two championship sides, we invite fans from both teams to come together for a remarkable cause.

James Bushell Jnr, who is battling Stage 4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma, has touched the hearts of football fans across Yorkshire. This walk is our collective effort to show solidarity and support for James and his family during these challenging times.

Meeting at the John Smith's Stadium at 6.30am, for a 7.00am start, up to 60 fans will embark on a 13-mile journey that symbolises hope, resilience, and unity. The walk will culminate at Elland Road, Leeds, at approximately 11.30 AM, just in time for the kick-off at 12.30 PM.

The funds raised through this walk will be distributed to James to aid in his treatment journey and to the Teenage Cancer Trust unit at St. James's Hospital, where James is receiving his care. Your participation can make a significant impact.
